Support for Electronic Data Submissions
- Provide support to programs in cross-walking existing data sets with the P2 Results Data set. Provide programming support for developing data export mechanisms from programs’ existing data sources to the program’s NEIEN node, in conformance with the approved XML schema.
- Make linkages to GranTrack so similar data will populate both databases through one common interface. (suggested: September 2006)
Data Transparency
- Allow users to have the option of publicly displaying their program results.
- Note: This would have to be done on a regional level for all programs; cannot be a case-by-case basis.
Training Needs
- Protocol for training in a non-formal setting (not a classroom or at a training event)
- On-line, call-in help to a person to “walk them through” an issue?
Dialogue and Refinement of Data Definitions
- Protocol for handling nuanced differences of understanding in the data definitions
- How will data entry personnel raise issues that need to be resolved by the group?
- How will they learn of resolutions that have already occurred?
- Document scope of data definitions, i.e., what is meant by particular terms
- Allow for project/activities that take place in more than one state or region
