The Pollution Prevention Resource Information Center www.p2ric.org Region 7 Roundtable met on Wednesday 20th September. The aim of the meeting was to review and evaluate the inventory check that was established by P2RIC for this meeting.

The inventory used measurement and data definitions from the national database[1] that has been produced by P2RX. However, it is more direct with questions and only asks what information is collected not how much of something is reduced.

The collection of data focused on the following measurements:

• Activity Measures

• Behavioral Results

• Outcome Changes

The aim of the inventory is to collect information about your own measurement data. The inventory data will be used to determine the value P2RIC delivers to clients, the public and the taxpayer.

The inventory check is a template to evaluate the measurement data used by P2RIC clients. Although it has been used only in Region 7, a nationwide implementation is planned. The inventory tells P2RIC what measurements there clients collect such as water reduction, energy reduction and air emission reduction. This will help P2RIC to tailor our business to the specific needs of our clients.

The review of the initial results will allow Region 7 to make any necessary changes. The evaluation will give P2RIC members the opportunity to make any additions to the inventory check.
